SCULPTURE AND ARCHITECTURAL SETTINGS

Sculpture and architecture have provided Western Culture with a rich heritage as companion art forms. The Parthenon in Athens with its expansive relief cycles and statuary honoring the Goddess Athena, Paris' Notre Dame Cathedral with its integrated sacred narrative relief program, Saint Peter's Basilica incorporating Bernini's acroterion Biblical figures, the great 19th century international exposition structures of London, Paris and the United States showcasing iron and glass gallery spaces, and the contemporary Guggenheim Bilbao Museum are just a few examples of the symbiotic relationship of architecture and sculpture.

My sculptures are derived from maquettes and, in turn, can serve as maquettes for large scale installation projects.

My sculpture is available for public spaces. I welcome commission proposals for interior and exterior sculpture projects.
